INCLUDING AUSTIN GRAD IN YOUR WILL

Here is a simple question: Do you have a will?

Unfortunately, more people will answer No than Yes.

The cornerstone of a good estate plan is a well- prepared will. Surprisingly, a will is usually not as difficult to prepare or as expensive as people think.

A will assures that your assets will be passed to those you love, as you desire, and not by the state through an impersonal formula of distribution.

You can also arrange for a final gift to your favorite charitable organization, like Austin Grad.

Bequests in wills to Austin Grad are not only important to the school from a financial standpoint but they are also very encouraging. A bequest indicates that the person leaving the gift truly believes in what Austin Grad is doing through its mission. That mission is: To promote knowledge, understanding and practice of the Christian faith by equipping Christians and churches for service in the Kingdom of God.

A bequest in your will can extend the support of that mission beyond your lifetime. What a wonderful legacy and what better way to exercise visionary philanthropy?

If you are preparing your will or revising your estate plan please consider including Austin Grad in one of the following ways:

Entire Estate: For those who have no heirs, their entire estate could be used to support the Lord’s work at Austin Grad.

Percentage of Estate: Include Austin Grad for set percentage (i.e. 25%) of the value of the estate.

Specific Amount: Set a specific dollar amount (i.e. $50,000) to be distributed directly to Austin Grad.

Residual Estate: This is the amount of assets left in the estate after specific bequests are made to heirs and others.

Contingent Bequest: Austin Grad might be designated to receive specific bequests that cannot be delivered as directed in the will. For example, if an heir predeceases the one making the bequest.

Our correct corporate title is: Institute for Christian Studies dba Austin Graduate School of Theology.

We would like for you to have a copy of our new booklet, “Ensuring Your Wishes: A Guide to Your Will.” We will be happy to send it to you without obligation.

God bless you as you extend your support of his work at Austin Grad through your visionary philanthropy.
